This case study explores a 54-year-old male patient diagnosed with right-sided hemiplegia following an ischemic stroke. The clinical presentation, management strategies, and rehabilitation outcomes are discussed, highlighting the importance of a multidisciplinary approach.

It significantly impacts the quality of life and requires comprehensive management. This case study aims to provide insight into the clinical management of a patient with paralysis due to an ischemic stroke.
Patient Information

Age: 54 years
Gender: Male
Occupation: Bank employee
Medical History: Hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
Presenting Complaint: The patient presented with sudden onset weakness on the right side of the body, difficulty speaking, and facial drooping on the right side.
Clinical Findings
Neurological Examination:
Right-sided hemiplegia with a motor strength score of 1/5 in the upper and lower limbs.
Decreased sensation on the right side.
Slurred speech (dysarthria).
Facial asymmetry with drooping on the right side.
Imaging Studies: CT scan of the brain revealed an area of ischemia in the left middle cerebral artery territory.
Management and Treatment
Medicines: Medication that help in strengthenig muscles, improve vitality, support recovery, enhance cognitive function and support nerve health. Treatment also include Anti-inflammatory properties help in reducing swelling and promoting healing and improves circulation.
Rehabilitation Plan:
Physical Therapy: Initiated early mobilization, focusing on passive and active range of motion exercises.
Occupational Therapy: Customized strategies to improve activities of daily living (ADLs).
Speech Therapy: Addressed dysarthria and communication difficulties.
